Online classes at East West University are conducted using a web conferencing tool called Meet, a service by Google Inc. Your professors use this tool for real-time remote collaboration with students to conduct academic classes online. Students also use Meet to join online classes and collaborate with professors and other students.

Google Meet works in a supported web browser and is also available as a mobile application. Sign in using the Google account provided or approved by the university.

Open the class invitation or Meet link shared by your instructor, sign in with your university account, and select Join now when the class begins.

You can use a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone with a stable internet connection, speakers, and a microphone.

A webcam is helpful for interactive classes but may not be required for every session. Follow the instructions provided by your course teacher.

Yes. Use the Present now option in Google Meet when your instructor permits screen sharing.

Open the chat panel during a meeting to send messages to everyone in the session. Keep messages relevant to the class discussion.

Yes. Select the captions option in the meeting controls to display automatically generated live captions.

Yes. Open the meeting options and choose Change layout to select the view that works best for you.

Check your internet connection, close unnecessary applications, use headphones, and turn off your camera if bandwidth is limited.

Recording availability depends on account permissions and university policy. Ask your instructor before recording any class session.

When a recording is available, the organizer or instructor can share its approved Google Drive link with class participants.
