Students' Welfare Department

In contrast to typical student union structures in other institutions, the Students' Welfare Department at East West University facilitates a distinctive model in which student clubs collectively function as a student union. Through this integrated framework, the Department serves as a central platform for student engagement, fostering a dynamic and inclusive campus environment where students actively participate in diverse aspects of university life while also contributing to institutional processes. This approach promotes a holistic experience grounded in the integrated development of body, mind, and spirit, with a strong emphasis on building leadership and communication skills and experiential learning beyond the classroom.

A key component of this ecosystem is the University's vibrant student club structure, which operates not only as a network of interest-based clubs but also as a unified student body. Currently, 18 active clubs operate under the guidance of faculty moderators, ensuring both systematic alignment and effective governance. In addition to fostering student engagement, this collective structure strengthens the representative function of the clubs, enabling them to channel student voices in an organized and meaningful manner. The clubs provide students with opportunities to explore their interests, develop hidden potential, and cultivate essential transferable skills such as teamwork, communication, leadership, and organization. Career Counseling Center (CCC)

The Career Counseling Center exists to aid and support students in reaching their full potential, which includes growth and development in social and intellectual areas. The center liaises with prospective employers and arranges internships and jobs for students and graduates. As a forerunner among private universities in Bangladesh, the Center endeavors not only to ensure excellence in education but also to help students find suitable careers. CCC is a guide and mentor for students in helping them to develop their aims and building their confidence by arranging and organizing different on-campus job fairs, workshops, seminars, corporate presentations, internship placements and symposia on a regular basis where students get to learn about formal writing, etiquette and grooming, successful interview techniques, corporate networking and how to succeed in the work place.

CCC is the meeting point for both career-seeking individuals and leading employers of the country and thus keeps the spirit of East West University high.
